• 1-4 November: ITM / DVTD Colloquium on Zoonoses and Neglected Infectious Diseases in Africa. This colloquium is organised jointly by the Institute of Tropical Medicine (ITM, Belgium) and the Department of Veterinary Tropical Diseases of the University of Pretoria (DVTD, South-Africa). The colloquium which includes two days of scientific sessions will take place in Johannesburg (South-Africa).

October 2011

• Thursday 6 October: Public VSF-E presentation and meeting at the AGES institute in Innsbruck, Austria. At this public event, there will be presentations of current ongoing VSF work in developing countries and activities in Europe, followed by an open discussion.
• Friday 7 October: VSF-E board meeting
• 10-14 October: World Veterinary Congress 2011, Cape Town, South Africa.
